It’s that time of year again, time for LEGOLAND California’s annual Brick or Treat Monster Party! This Brick or Treat party is a play on the words “trick or treat” but with a LEGO spin by changing “trick” to “brick.”
The Brick or Treat party at LEGOLAND California takes place on select Saturdays in September and every Saturday and Sunday in October.
My family and I attended the event on the very first day it was offered it was offered this year, Saturday September 14, 2024. We had never been to Brick or Treat before, but we have annual passes to LEGOLAND and are very familiar with the park. We were excited to check out the special food, shows and trick or treat trails throughout the park.
Brick or Treat is included for the most expensive annual pass, which is the Elite pass. All other passes can purchase discounted tickets to the party, and any regular tickets for dates the party is happening include the party.
Unlike Halloween events at other theme parks like Disneyland’s Oogie Boogie Bash and Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights, LEGOLAND California’s Brick or Treat Monster Party is not an evening only event. This event starts when the park opens in the morning and lasts until the park closes, although the special shows and trick or treat trails don’t take place until the afternoon.
I made a video with details about the event including what we thought of the food (we tried almost all of the special food offerings), what we learned about the costume contest (I think I know how to win!), and which shows I would consider a must see. I also provide tips about photo ops, LEGOLAND at night and the trick or treat trails.
This video is kind of long, but as you can tell from my description, I was pretty thorough. In case you don’t feel like watching the whole thing, I broke the video into chapters, so you can easily skip to whatever you want to know more about, such as the food, the shows or the costume contest (the prize is amazing BTW!).
I hope this video was helpful as you plan your family friendly adventures to celebrate Halloween. LEGOLAND California’s Brick or Treat really is a kid-friendly Halloween theme park event. I was a little worried my daughter wouldn’t like it, but she had a lot of fun.
